Mortgage Exit Admin Fees

Claim back your "Mortgage Exit Administration Fees" (also known as Deed Release Fees, Sealing Fees, Final Administration Discharge Fees or Final Redemption Fees) these are the fees you paid to end your mortgage contract. This may be when you switched to another mortgage or when the whole mortgage was paid off.

All mortgages redeemed in the last 6 years should be reviewed. The true cost of closing a mortgage is estimated to be £35 to £50

Mortgage exit fees are charged for administration work and are NOT the same as Redemption Fees.

The Financial Services Authority has become increasingly concerned that some lenders are not being as clear as they should be in explaining the costs of redemption and that the fees are not always proportionate to the cost of administering the paperwork connected with ending a mortgage.

Real Life will negotiate with your mortgage lender on your behalf to recover these fees and if necessary take your case to the Financial Ombudsman for resolution. There is no upfront fee for this service, Real Life’s charge is 25%+VAT of any monies recovered for you. This highly successful, value for money service takes the headache and hassle of making a claim away from you.
